Hope I could HelpAre there any variable stars, binary stars, nebulae, clusters, etc. in the Leo (lion) constellation? There are variable stars and binary stars in _every_ constellation. Two variables which I observe regularly are R Leonis and X Leonis, and Gamma Leonis (Algieba) is one of my favourite double stars. According to the Saguaro catalog, there are no star clusters. diffuse nebulae, or dark nebulae in Leo, and only one planetary nebula: PK221+45.1. There are 392 galaxies in Leo, which of course contain thousands of clusters and nebulae.
