Can somebody who KNOWS for sure how it looks like, send me a lic to the picture. Thank You in advance!Phoenix Constellation, which one is the right one??I am always surprised at how people take time to ask questions but don't take the time to do the actual research.

As different people take pictures of the sky, pictures of the constellations will look a little different because each person is using different lenses and exposure times. The different lenses affect how much of the sky each one sees and the different exposures affect how many stars are visible in the image. Also, it can depend on where the person is located and time of night the image was taken as to the orientation of the constellation in a picture (ie, it might not be turned the same way as the reference graphic).Phoenix Constellation, which one is the right one??http://www.allthesky.com/constellations/鈥?/a>

Sometimes I wonder what the astronomers/astrologists were thinking when they decided something was a constellation.

Depending on where you are in the US, you might not be able to see the whole of it, because it is a southern constellation. However, I stil have difficulties looking at the stars in that area and deciding which of the stars are the ones that demarcate the bird.
