The constellation Bootes is an area of the sky containing millions of stars. Different astronomers have "joined the dots" in different ways to make different patterns. Some of these may consist of ten stars, but this is neither wrong nor right. The star atlas I use connects 14 stars in Bootes. Only some have names; the rest have Bayer Letter designations (Greek letters):
Nekkar
Seginus
Izar
Arcturus
Muphrid
Plus one star not part of the constellation figure: AlkaluropsWhat are the name of the 10 stars that the constellation of Bootes make up?There is a list at the link below. Not all the stars have names.
