It would be a fair bet to say that there are more stars that have some sort of planetary body orbiting them, then there are stars that don't have a planetary body orbiting them.



And for planetary bodies, I would say anything from comets and asteroids to hot Jupiter's.Are there any planets in the orion constellation?

That section of the sky has a BUNCH of stars.. Millions and zillions.. So sure.
Our attention has been focused on Libra through.
As for the "connect the dots" stars of Orion. Yer Betelgeuse, Bellatrix, Rigel and belt stars etc...
Not likely actually.
The stars that you tend to be able to see with the naked eye, are either Super-Blues or Reg Giants, or other honking large bright infernos. Those CAN support planets, sure enough, but it's darned hard to calculate them, because they can't do much to their parent stars.

As for the Great Nebula though... Planets all up there for sure. Just gobs of orbiting rocks. Spitzer looked in to that and confirmed it.

Any star should have debris around it. Who knows what it really takes to make a home for intelligent life? We think it takes nice weather and heavy elements. You can bet on finding that ALL OVER THE PLACE.

But as for confirmed extra solars in Orion: Actually no named systems no.
