Assuming the northern hemisphere. Pegasus is on its downward slide, while Orion is climbing. Ursa Major (or Big Dipper) is so close to the pole it is nearly a constant fixture to be seen. A good note for it is that is is opposite the pole star (Polaris in Ursa Minor) from the constellation Pegasus.During the month of October which constellation can be seen the clearest ? Ok, assuming you live in the Northern Hemisphere, and assuming you are looking at night, with clear skies:

Ursa Major is probably the easiest to spot because it includes the Big Dipper, but recognizing the rest of the constellation takes some experience. Orion is clear and easily identifiable in October.

Pegasus takes a little effort and is easiest to see by finding the Great Square. Scorpio is also reasonably easy to identify by the curve of the 'tail" and the bright star Arcturus, but for me that's the order.
