Constellation Virgo has 9 and 15 stars?

I have been looking at the Virgo constellation and have found that sometimes the pictures I find show 9 connected stars where other pictures show 15 stars... why?Constellation Virgo has 9 and 15 stars?It depends on the limiting magnitude of the illustration. Some pictures show fainter stars, so there will be more than you can see in other illustrations.
